Forest Series (2008)

Inspiration for studio work is often in the sights, sounds and colours found when I'm out and about. Out and about can be close to home or on the other side of the world.

The Forest Series contains three paintings called Harlestone, Everdon and Salcey, each named after the Northamptonshire Woodlands and Forests that inspired them.  These Woodland and Forests have special qualities that change according to the season. In the paintings I wanted the season that best fits each one.
