Some of the photos I take are because I just like the image, others are because the images spark ideas for future paintings. the paintings won't be anything like the photographic image; they are purely an element of the road to making a painting.

Many such photographs I haven't yet used, so they reside as one of my studio resource archive. Many of the photographs are images I like just for what they are in their own right.
